Dr. K. R. Shroff Foundation does not build structures; it builds people.
\nIt strengthens their hands, sharpens their skills, and plants courage where doubt once lived.
\nEvery individual and every community should stand on its own feet \u2014 this is the core belief.<\/p>\n

To turn this belief into a concrete mission, Karigar Clinic (Banyan Tree Foundation)<\/strong> has launched an extraordinary initiative \u2014 the country\u2019s first \u201cclinic\u201d that diagnoses and treats the business side of a craftsman\u2019s life.
\nThe goal is simple: a craftsman must not remain a worker; he must rise as a business owner.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2024, KRSF and Karigar Clinic forged a partnership designed to alter destinies.
\nTogether, they began a powerful programme aimed at transforming the futures of 200 artisans in the Dangs<\/strong> \u2014 not through charity, but through enterprise.<\/p>\n

The joint Business Wellness Program<\/strong> is a three-month intensive course that implants the fundamentals of business into the mind of every artisan.
\nThey learn how to build a business plan, manage operations, control finances, and run their enterprise with clarity and discipline.<\/p>\n

The training goes further.<\/p>\n

Artisans learn to create a brand<\/em> \u2014 a name, a logo, an identity that customers remember.
\nThey learn to merge traditional craft with modern design, producing items that command attention in competitive markets.
\nThey are exposed to online and offline platforms where their products can earn fair value instead of being underpriced.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The first batch of 35 artisans<\/strong> has already begun its journey.
\nThey are not being trained merely as craftsmen \u2014 they are being shaped into CEOs of their own businesses.<\/p>\n

Both KRSF and Karigar Clinic understand that money alone is not enough; respect must follow.
\nFor years, artisans \u2014 custodians of India\u2019s cultural legacy \u2014 worked silently behind the scenes.

By 2025\u201326<\/strong>, the aim is clear:
