Her family survived on a modest income of seven to eight thousand rupees. Life flowed quietly, with little room for change. Yet within her, a silent determination grew: she wanted financial stability, and she wanted to earn it herself.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. K. R. Shroff Foundation and Aashray Charitable Trust entered her life at the right moment. They taught her a transformative skill\u2014<strong>the ability to convert organic waste into vermicompost<\/strong>, a nutrient-rich fertiliser often called <em>black gold<\/em>. The process was simple: gather farm waste, add a colony of earthworms, and let nature perform its silent alchemy.<\/p>\n<p>At first, Pintiben was unsure. Waste? Worms? Fertiliser?<br \/>\nBut she trusted the guidance. For a family that struggled to meet monthly expenses, this was a turning point. The strain eased. Confidence grew. Pintiben began imagining a future where her sons studied in the city and opportunities expanded.<\/p>\n<p>Today, KRSF and Aashray Charitable Trust have supported <strong>84 women<\/strong> like Pintiben. They have not only achieved financial independence but also shifted to using organic manure on their own farms. The soil regained strength. Crops improved.
