We believe that it is very essential to create platforms for various stakeholders to participate together; including parents, teachers and children. This creates a positive, regenerative cycle that is essential for children to continue beyond primary and secondary education. Due to poverty and economic pressures, a lot of parents pull their children out of the school after 8th/9th grade. Parents must catch a glimpse of brighter future of their children if India has to move forward on higher education front. We recognize this as a fundamental problem and work with parents to create a buy-in and ensure that children go beyond 9th grade.
As a part of this involvement and creating platforms for all stakeholders , we have been conducting various schools development activities such as ‘Science Mela’, ‘Math Mela’, Personality Development Camp, Reading Competitions, ‘LIFE’ Camp, ‘Dream India’ Camp in various Government Schools, to pull out hidden talent in the children. We have been conducting regular parent meetings in school as well as with individual parents, to create education-awareness and to encourage them to continue the school education of their children, especially girls, after 8th standard.
